Meeting Abstracts
- Search the NLM Gateway for abstracts from the International Conference on AIDS, 1989-2002, and other conferences.

- Each record contains the complete text of the abstract and is
identical to the abstract in the printed Conference
programs.
Before doing a search for meeting abstracts, click on Limits.
Click on the arrow next to All Categories and select Meeting
Abstracts. Then proceed with your search. Words are searched in
the title, the abstract and the medical subject headings (MeSH)
assigned to the abstract. To search for an abstract author,
follow these instructions and examples.
Author Name Searching
To search for a particular author name, enter the author name in the format last name plus initials (no punctuation), followed by the field qualifier [AUTHOR]. You may search for multiple authors at one time. Author names must be enclosed in quotes. You may enter only the last name, or the last name and the first initial if you do not know the middle initial, but your results may not be as precise.Examples:
