Multimedia Database Tool (MDT)Project Member(s): Michael Bopf, Rodney Long, Sameer Antani
The Multimedia Database Tool (MDT) will provide Web access to databases that contain both images and associated text.
With the MDT, users may pose a query based on any of the text data, and all records, consisting of both text and images,
that satisfy the query will be displayed and made available for download. The initial two databases to be used in the
MDT are the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Guanacaste and ALTS databases. A typical query of one of these databases
might be to find all records for women who had an HPV test positive for HPV type 16.
