The primary user of an iSDP enrolled machine (including contractors) is eligible to participate in the Home Use Program (HUP). This program enables you to get a licensed copy of most Microsoft Office desktop applications to install and use on your home computer. This program replaces the 'Home Use Rights' previously offered.
Please note, this is different from Microsoft's Employee Purchase Program, which offers more Microsoft products at a discount.
For each product eligible for the Home Use Program for which you are a licensed user with active Software Assurance coverage, you may order a single copy of that product to install and use on a home computer. You may continue using this HUP software while you are under HHS employment and as long as the software you use at work has active Software Assurance coverage. The current fee is approximately $20. Please note that the HUP software you receive through this program is not covered by software assurance, although the software you use at the office is. For example, if you currently use Office 2003, and order Office 2003 through the HUP, when Microsoft releases the next version of Office, your work computer will be licensed for that version. However, for your home use software, you will have to order the new version through the HUP.

To access the Microsoft Home Use Program website, please follow the steps below:
- Go to https://hup.microsoft.com/
- Select the country to which you wish your order to be shipped to and choose the language for viewing the order web site.
- Enter your corporate email address and insert the your program code. To get the program code:
- For designated iSDP representatives, click here for the code.
- For all others, please email the iSDP Contact for your IC/Agency to receive the Program Code.
Note: this program code is assigned to our organization for our sole use in accessing this site. You may not share this number with anyone outside our organization.
- Place your order on-line and it will be shipped to the location you have chosen. Please note that a fulfillment fee will be charged to cover packaging, shipping and handling costs.
