CIT Logo Usage Guidelines

General Requirements

Center for Information TechnologyA logo is a critical part of an institution's identity. It not only identifies the organization, but it provides an opportunity to set the appropriate tone and institutional image. The CIT logo consists of the swirl symbol and the CIT abbreviation, with "Center for Information Technology" underneath. In color, the symbol is blue and all the type is dark gray.

Do not attempt to recreate any part of the logo or alter it in any way. Do not alter the typeface or its size and position relative to the symbol. When changing the size of the logo, never stretch or compress it.

These are the official colors for the CIT logo:

  • Hex: #6666CC
    RGB: 102, 102, 204
    Pantone: 2718
  • Hex: #666666

    Pantone: 431

Do not alter the colors and never use lighter shades (screens) of the two colors. When placing the logo on a dark background, the logo should reverse (appear as white). Do not use the two-color version of the logo on darker backgrounds.
