Risk Communication Bibliography: Explaining Risks to the Public
Description:
This bibliography is intended for use by, but not limited to, health educators, media professionals, physicians, nurses and social workers who communicate risk information. The entries focus on publications that relate to the specific task of explaining the nature and magnitude of hazards to the public. The two primary sources of entries in the bibliography are from PsycINFO and Medline. Records are coded by some of the following criteria: publication type; focus; communicator; audience role, gender and ethnicity; setting; and other categories. The listings are periodically updated to include current publications.
