The Sexual Acquisition and Transmission of HIV Cooperative Agreement Program (SATH-CAP) (Website) is an infrastructure for research composed of a coordinating center, four university research centers, and four data collection sites in the United States and one in Russia. 

Mission:

  • Expand the knowledge based on the behavioral, biological, and environmental processes involved in transmitting HIV among and across drug-using population subgroups and in diffusing HIV from drug-using to non-drug-using populations.
