Rapid Access to Preventive Intervention Development (RAPID)
Description:
RAPID supports the preclinical development of chemopreventive agents and clinical development through preclinical and Phase I studies by assisting investigators in the process of bringing discoveries from the laboratory to the clinic. Support provided includes:
- Chemical synthesis and GMP manufacturing
- Preclinical efficacy
- GLP toxicology testing
- IND preparation
- Phase 1 support

Application process. Awards made on a competitive basis. Requests must be received by November 1 of each year.
