^§ Cancers = Examinations with a tissue diagnosis of ductal carcinoma in situ or invasive cancer within 30 days prior to or 1 year following the examination. Non-cancers = Examinations without a tissue diagnosis of ductal carcinoma in situ or invasive cancer within 30 days prior to or 1 year following the examination.

^& Positive interpretation = BI-RADS category 0 or 3 with a recommendation for biopsy, 4, or 5. Negative interpretation = BI-RADS category 1, 2, 0 with no recommendation for biopsy nor additional imaging/work-up, or 3 with no recommendation for biopsy.
