Lung Cancer Model Applied to Kentucky to Measure Potential Impact of Tobacco Control Policies
CISNET members from the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation used their SimSmoke model to project the potential effect of tobacco control policies in reducing smoking rates and on tobacco-related mortality in Kentucky. The modelers worked closely with with Kentucky in-state partners to suggest policies that can have a large impact on smoking rates and save lives in Kentucky, the state with the highest adult smoking rates.
