Statistical Tables, Graphs, and Maps

  • Cancer Stat Fact Sheets are a collection of statistical summaries for a number of common cancer types. They were developed to provide a quick overview of frequently-requested cancer statistics including incidence, mortality, survival, stage, prevalence, and lifetime risk.
  • SEER Cancer Statistics Review (CSR) is an annual report which includes incidence, mortality, survival, prevalence, and lifetime risk statistics. The most recent report includes statistics from 1975 through 2005, the most recent year for which data are available.
  • Fast Stats links to tables, charts, and graphs of cancer statistics for all major cancer sites by age, sex, race, and sometimes by geographic area. The statistics include incidence, mortality, survival and stage, prevalence, and the probability of developing or dying from cancer. A large set of statistics is available in defined formats.
  • State Cancer Profiles is a comprehensive system of interactive maps and graphs enabling the investigation of cancer trends at the national, state, and county level.
  • Cancer Prevalence Statistics provides a detailed description of statistical methods used to calculate prevalence as well as links to prevalence statistics available on the Web.
  • Delay-Adjusted Incidence Rates provides a detailed description of statistical methods used to calculate delay-adjusted incidence as well as links to statistics available on the Web.
  • Cancer Trends Progress Report Web site provides up-to-date information on topics across the cancer continuum—from disease prevention to the impact of deaths from cancer—and tracks the successful application of cancer research into practice.
  • NCI's Cancer Mortality Maps and Graphs Web Site shows geographic patterns and time trends of cancer death rates for the time period 1950-1994 for more than 40 cancers.
