Cancer Mortality Maps & Graphs Web Site

Description:
Provides accessible interactive maps, graphs, text, tables, and figures showing geographic patterns and time trends of cancer death rates for the time period 1950-1994 for over 40 cancers. It is not only an interactive version of the book, Atlas of Cancer Mortality in the United States, 1950-1994, but also a resource that enables users to create customized maps and graphs by controlling certain parameters. Users can link to a variety of national and international Web sites for additional cancer-related resources. The site is a popular source of information for researchers, public health officials, teachers, students, and private citizens.
