Stuart opened the meeting with a discussion of the IAC role with regard to the proposed Image World and CIOSP procurements. It has been decided that the IAC will play no role in those procurements in the future. We then discussed the Executive Agent Designation status. Dr. Lee told the group he met with Dee Lee (OPM) and his group plans to deliver a revised package to her. Dr. Lee has requested that if any of the vendors have suggestions or comments concerning the reasons why NIH should seek this status, please provide them to Dr. Lee and his staff as soon as possible. There is an AFCEA black tie dinner scheduled for February 26th. It is a fund-raiser for the Children's Inn at NIH. The IAC recommends that all vendors try to support this excellent charity opportunity. Please feel free to invite your government customers. The next meeting of the IAC will be on March 9th.
