This is your opportunity to submit a “poster” display that describes successful research or best practices in school foodservice and nutrition. Awards will be given in the categories of research and best practices.

Nutrition Committee member Dr. Becky Domokos-Bays presented today at the second meeting of the 2010 Dietary Advisory Committee.  Dr. Bays highlighted SNA’s commitment to serving meals consistent with the Dietary Guidelines.

Each year the members of the School Nutrition Association present Congress with the critical issues facing school nutrition professionals and the more than 30 million children that are provided safe, healthy meals through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. 

This week marks the first entries and inception of From the Kitchen to the Congress, the School Nutrition Association's new blog exclusively dedicated to discussing news and issues related to the 2009 Reauthorization of the Child Nutrition Programs.
