H.R. 1144—Minority Populations Diabetes Prevention and Control Act of 2003

On March 6, 2003, Representative Juanita Millender-McDonald (D-CA) introduced H.R. 1144, the Minority Populations Diabetes Prevention and Control Act of 2003. H.R. 1144 would provide, with respect to diabetes in minority populations, for an increase in the extent of activities carried out by NIH and CDC. The bill was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
