Research Interest Groups (RIGs) are groups of scientists or projects that embody the following: 

  • Shared focus on a specific aspect of NIDA research--e.g., neuroimaging;
  • Less formal structure than networks--e.g., independent R01s; mentoring under-represented scientists;
  • Representing a NIDA research priority.
