Office of the Scientific Director
The Office of the Director provides scientific, program, and administrative leadership for the Division of Intramural Research Programs; promotes an environment conducive to productive research; and coordinates activities, establishes priorities, and analyzes and evaluates progress.

Office of the Clinical Director
The mission of the Office of the Clinical Director (OCD) is to ensure that subjects participating in NIMH protocols receive the highest standards of clinical care.

Office of Fellowship Training
The NIMH Intramural Fellowship Training Program located in the Office of the Director (OD), is headed by Barry B. Kaplan, PhD., Director for Fellowship Training. Dr. Kaplan provides oversight and development of Intramural Research Program's integrated multi disciplinary fellowship training program, and provides administrative support and resources for all training-related activities.

Office of Technology Transfer
OTT provides a complete array of services to support the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) technology development activities. To ensure that these activities complies with the Federal Technology Transfer Act of 1986 (FTTA), as amended, and Executive Order No. 12591, as well as regulations and the policies of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Administrative Services Branch
The Administrative Services Branch is responsible for acquiring and managing the resources and services needed to operate the Intramural Research Program. Administrative Services plays a key role in maximizing utilization of financial and human capital, and performing a variety of management functions.

The Administrative Services Branch has developed this on-line resources to provide information on a wide array of services available to assist NIMH DIRP staff.

New Employee Orientation Guide
The New Employee Orientation Guide is designed to be a one-stop reference for employees newly arriving at NIH/NIMH. Employees can access the Guide prior to relocating to the Washington, DC Metro Area for useful information on housing, schools, regional government offices, and to learn about the NIH campus. Among other things, the Guide provides a list of required tasks that must be completed on the day of arrival.

Manditory Training Matrix
The Mandatory Training Matrix is a comprehensive list of required computer-based and instructor-based training sessions. Employees may use the Matrix to learn about the requirements that apply to them.
