The NCI Tobacco Investigators Meeting: Synthesizing Research for the Public's Health will be held from Wednesday, June 2, 2004 to Friday, June 4, 2004 at the Omni Hotel in San Diego, CA. This meeting will be focused on:
- fostering transdisciplinary collaboration among NCI grantees and
other scientists
- exploring our progress in tobacco control
- planning for future collaboration across disciplines
- facilitating the collaboration between research scientists and community-based professionals to promote the application of research findings into effective programs and strategies
