Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential, professional service designed to assist Census employees in resolving personal and work-related problems at no cost. Some of these problems may include interpersonal conflicts, relationships, work and family pressures, legal and financial problems, alcohol/drug abuse and other addictions. The EAP is a voluntary program offered through the Health unit. It is staffed by professional counselors with assistance from the Health Unit Staff. The goal of the EAP is to provide an assessment of and brief counseling for personal and job-related problems. In addition, the EAP provides referrals to other professional services and community resources as needed.
