For your information, beginning Monday, March 28, in association with the U.S. Supreme Court’s Modernization Project, marble will be removed from the terrace on the north side of the building (closest to the intersection of Maryland Avenue and First Street, N.E.) The work will take place between the hours of 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. and will be conducted on weekdays only. The work will generate noise but efforts are being made to minimize the disturbance it may cause. The work is expected to be completed by April 8.
