	Register for NJC's 2009 Webcasts Several informative webcasts will be offered in 2009. The first webcast will be in February and will review the most important decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court from the 2007-2008 term.

	Mediation is Helping the New Mexico Office of the State Engineer Historically, the hearings unit of the Office of the State Engineer (OSE) has assisted by hearing disputed water right cases. Now, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), mostly through mediation, is included in our handling of these sometimes-rancorous arguments and the NJC helped with that implementation.
	Cutting Edge: Webcasts, Webinars and Other Web-Based Judicial Education Courses The recent success of the first NJC Webcast has paved the way for more Web-based judicial learning opportunities for both judges and the NJC.
