Biography:
Terry Pratchett published his first story when he was 13 and sold his first full-length novel at the age of 21. He is the author of the best-selling Discworld series that includes "The Color of Magic" (1983) and his most recent book "Making Money" (HarperCollins, 2007). His novels have sold more than 45 million copies worldwide and have been translated into 27 languages. He will appear in the Fiction & Fantasy Pavilion.

The 2007 National Book Festival, organized and sponsored by the Library of Congress and hosted by First Lady Laura Bush will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., between 7th and 14th streets from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival is free and open to the public.
