Currently Medicare reimbursement rates penalize patients and providers in our state.

Because Washington state has a tradition of efficient healthcare and healthy seniors, Washington doctors and providers are reimbursed at a dramatically lower rate than other states.

Working with patients, doctors, nurses and others, Senator Murray has introduced the Medi-Fair Act S. 2568 which would ensure that seniors in Washington state receive the national average reimbursements per beneficiary.
