"Leadership, Scholarship, Fellowship"

Committed to professional development & leadership training for law enforcement agencies; scholarship availability for the families of fallen or disabled officers; and the fellowship of professional policing coming together to support the innovative programs of the IACP Foundation.

Recognizing the dynamic and diverse issues that police executives face, the IACP created the IACP Foundation in 1990 to add a new dimension to the association’s support of professional policing.

With the support of individuals and corporate partners, the IACP Foundation is proud to bring you powerful initiatives that truly serve the needs of today’s law enforcement community.

The IACP Center for Police Leadership, with support from the Motorola Foundation, delivers hands-on leadership training and course material for a broad cross section of agency personnel

The Survivors’ Education Law Enforcement Trust (SELECT) recognizes the contributions made by law enforcement officers killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty by providing college scholarships to their surviving dependents.

The Global Enrichment Program, through generous funding from Oracle, provides a two-year membership in the IACP to law enforcement leaders from underrepresented nations.

Free Training Tools such as "Michelle Norton’s Story", "Images for Community Safety" and "Computer Based Training for Highway-Rail Grade Crossing Collision Investigation" provide no-cost training to agencies across the globe.

I encourage you to learn more about the Foundation and the valuable programs we develop and deliver to departments just like yours.
