Museum Hours and Pricing for This Special Exhibition

Leonardo da Vinci remains one of the most fascinating people history has ever known. The San Diego Air & Space Museum helps bring to life da Vinci’s visions and ideas at The Da Vinci Experience, showing from January 31, 2009 through January 3, 2010. The exhibit is composed of more than 60 full-sized replicas and models of the remarkable inventions designed and described by Leonardo da Vinci. The machines in the exhibit are organized around three themes: transportation, military and mechanical. There is a large, interactive educational area where everyone can test some of da Vinci's ideas. The exhibit also offers a gallery that houses 12 reproductions of his most famous paintings, a theater featuring a short film about the life of da Vinci, interactive computer kiosks and a gift shop . The Da Vinci Experience is a fun, educational, hands-on exhibit for the entire family!
