Daniel K. Tarullo on Wednesday took the oath of office as a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.  The oath was administered by Chairman Ben S. Bernanke in the Board Room.

Then President-elect Obama announced his intention to nominate Mr. Tarullo on December 18, 2008, and the Senate confirmed him on January 27, 2009.  Mr. Tarullo was nominated to an unexpired term ending January 31, 2022.
