Dreier Announces Service Academy Application Deadline

SAN DIMAS, CA - Congressman David Dreier (R-San Dimas, CA) has announced the deadline for Service Academy applications for the 2009 school year. Young men and women interested in attending a United States Service Academy beginning in July 2009 have until Friday, November 14, 2008 to submit their applications for a nomination to Congressman Dreier’s San Dimas office.
To be considered for admission to the U.S. Air Force, Military, Naval or Merchant Marine Academy, a student must first obtain a nomination from their local member of Congress. To be nominated by Congressman Dreier, an applicant must be between the ages of 17 and 23, a United States citizen, a resident of Congressman Dreier’s district, and high school graduate by July 1, 2009.
Congressman Dreier’s district includes the following communities: Arcadia, Bradbury, Charter Oak, Claremont, Glendora, La Canada Flintridge, La Crescenta, La Verne, Monrovia, Montclair, Montrose, Rancho Cucamonga, San Antonio Heights, San Dimas, San Marino, Sierra Madre, Upland, Walnut, Wrightwood, and portions of Altadena, Pasadena, and San Gabriel.
