MARTINEZ HOSTS HOMEOWNERSHIP COMMUNITY OFFICE HOURS IN WEST PALM BEACH

Representatives from Senator Martinez’s Office, government and non-profit housing counseling agencies, and lenders will assist homeowners facing foreclosure

U.S. Senator Mel Martinez (R-FL) today announced Homeownership Community Office Hours from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to be held at Forest Hill High School in West Palm Beach on Saturday, September 13th. The event is specifically targeted at reaching homeowners facing foreclosure and helping them learn more about their options.

“Members of my staff, government agencies, and housing industry representatives will be available to assist residents impacted by the current housing crisis. Many hard-working Floridians have been hit by the crisis and we want to ensure those facing the prospect of losing their homes have all the information they need,” Martinez said.

The Office of Senator Mel Martinez, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Palm Beach County Affordable Housing Collaborative and the Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County will be providing a homeownership preservation forum to help homeowners struggling to make their mortgage payments find assistance.
