Wednesday, January 21, 2009:
12:00 pm: Proceed to executive session to consider the nomination of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton to be Secretary of State. There will be up to 3 hours for debate equally divided prior to a vote.
12:45 pm: The Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus luncheons to meet.
If all time is used on the Clinton nomination, the vote would occur around 4:30pm.
Following Executive Session, the Senate will resume consideration of S.181, the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act.
