Whitfield Announces $470,000 Federal Grant For Fulton County Airport

Congressman Ed Whitfield announced Wednesday that the Fulton County Airport will receive two grants totaling $470,583 from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The Fulton County Airport is an integral part of the local community and its economy, said Whitfield. This grant will help the airport continue providing quality service to Fulton County residents and visitors.
The funds will be used to construct a new apron. The existing apron obstructs the runway area and will no longer be used once the new apron is constructed.
