Ros-Lehtinen To Attend Breakfast Reception

At The Sunrise Community For Persons

With Developmental Disabilities

 

Miami, FL --- Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, senior member of the Florida Congressional Delegation, will take part in a breakfast reception at the Sunrise 120 Person Facility for persons with developmental disabilities TOMORROW Saturday, April 19 at 6:30 AM. Ros-Lehtinen is at the forefront in supporting legislation in the Congress to raise awareness for people with Autism, Down Syndrome, mental retardation and other disabilities.

 

During her visit, Ros-Lehtinen will meet with the administrators and staff of the 120 Person Facility. 

 

WHEN:           TOMORROW, Saturday April 18, 2008

 

TIME:            6:30 AM

 

WHERE:        Sunrise Community, Inc., located at 22300 SW 162 Avenue, The Redlands.  Take the Turnpike Extension South to 216 Street and turn right. Go straight out to 162 Avenue, which is Farm Life Road and turn left. Sunrise Community will be on your right.

The 120 Person Facility in the Redlands is home to 120 special needs clients.

In the community, they have clients who live with Autism to those who

Require medical care 24 hours a day. The goal of the community is to offer

people with developmental disabilities quality of life. Sunrise Community, Inc

is a not for profit organization serving the special needs community of South

Florida for over 40 years.
