Cardin Presents $45K to Queen Anne's Co.
Senator Cardin joined the National Park Service in presenting a check to the Queen Anne's County Council to create the Ferry Point Trail in the Kent Narrows Area. This trail will be part of the National Park Service Chesapeake Gateways Network, which includes more than 150 sites in five states and the District of Columbia and helps visitors learn more about the unique culture and ecology of the Chesapeake Bay.

Cardin, Students Kick Off Stream Restoration Project
Senator Cardin is joined by Col. Peter Mueller of the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and students from Baltimore City's Beechfield Elementary/Middle School at a groundbreaking for the Maidens Choice Run stream restoration project. Maidens Choice Run is considered one of the most polluted tributaries in Maryland and its restoration will help rejuvenate the entire Gwynns Fall watershed.
