It is an honor to represent the people of Idaho. It is my goal to do so in a manner that reflects the values and traditions of Idahoans. During the course of my public service, I have been fortunate to be recognized by many tremendous organizations. Many of these awards are based on my voting record, and my efforts to serve the people of Idaho.
My philosophy on business and economic matters is firmly rooted in the free and open market. We must find the economic paths that work best for our communities; that includes favorable tax rates, international trade policies and federal budget goals. Award is in recognition of support for freedom and opportunity in the workplace, and included votes on minimum wage increases, private sector "competitive sourcing" of government employees, CAFTA, OSHA reform and pro-labor market immigration reform. |
