The Committee granted, by voice vote, a closed rule providing for consideration of H.R. 5970. The rule provides one hour of debate on H.R. 5970 in the House equally divided and controlled by the chairman and ranking minority member of the Committee on Ways and Means. The rule waives all points of order against consideration of H.R. 5970. The rule provides one motion to recommit H.R. 5970.

The rule provides for consideration of H.R. 4 under a closed rule. The rule provides one hour of debate on H.R. 4 in the House equally divided among and controlled by the chairman and ranking minority member of the Committee on Ways and Means and the chairman and ranking minority member of the Committee on Education and the Workforce. The rule waives all points of order against consideration of H.R. 4. Finally, the rule provides one motion to recommit H.R. 4.
