Coffman Announces Subcommittee Assignments

 

Brings 21 years of military service to subcommittees
 
(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – U.S. Rep. Mike Coffman (R-Colorado) today announced his subcommittee assignments in the House Armed Services Committee. Coffman will be serving on the Air and Land Forces and the Seapower and Expeditionary Forces Subcommittees.
 
“I look forward to bringing my experience as a former member of both the U.S. Army and the Marine Corps to my subcommittee assignments,” Coffman said. “I will do my best to make sure our men and women have all the equipment and support that they need to complete their missions.”
 
Coffman has a combined 21 years of military service between the U.S. Army, the Army Reserve, the U.S. Marine Corps, and the Marine Corps Reserve. He is a combat veteran who served in the first Gulf War and recently in Iraq.
 
Coffman concluded, “We are a nation at war and it is critical that we have members of Congress on the House Armed Services Committee who have military experience.”
