ceremonies for the President and Vice-President of the
United States. Upon completion of the ceremony, pursuant to

until noon on Wednesday, January 21, 2009.

Lungren, Daniel E. . Mr. Lungren, Daniel E. submitted his
resignation from the Committee on the Budget. The
resignation was accepted without objection.
The House received a communication from the Honorable Mr.
Scalise . Mr. Scalise submitted his resignation from the
Committees on Transportation and Infrastructure, and
Veterans' Affairs.
The resignation was accepted without objection.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Chair designated Mr. Hare to
lead the Members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to
the Flag.
