May 12, 2008 - Nevada Senator Harry Reid spoke on the Senate floor this week about the need to address the skyrocketing price of gasoline in Nevada and across the nation. On average, Nevadans are paying $3,000 more per year for gas than they were seven years ago. The extreme increase in price for gas is weighing down almost every part of our struggling economy. “The American people deserve both short and long-term solutions to this crisis,” said Reid.
