Congressional Art ContestEach spring, the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate sponsor the Congressional Art Competition for high school students around the country. This competition proves to be an excellent example of the important role the arts play in American society, in addition to giving students the opportunity to show their artistic skill. To enter, students must submit their artwork through their high school. Winners of the competition will have their artwork displayed in the United States Capitol for one year. One winner is chosen from each congressional district. For further information, please contact my District Office in Detroit Lakes at (218) 847-5056.
