Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that Southern Illinois University Carbondale has been awarded a $102,182 grant from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The award is for clinical research related to neurological disorders.
"This grant will further our understanding of Parkinson's Disease," Costello said. "Federal research efforts are critical to sustaining a strong economy, and I will continue to support these activities."
