The Subcommittee on Energy and Air Quality considered, pursuant to notice, the following six Committee Prints and took the following actions:

Committee Print to promote energy efficiency was forwarded favorably to the full Committee, amended, by a yea-nay vote: 17-14;

The following amendments were offered:

Committee Print to facilitate the transition to a smart grid was forwarded favorably to the full Committee by a yea-nay vote: 16-10.

The following amendments were offered:

Committee Print regarding Department of Energy EPAct Loan Guarantees was forwarded favorably to the full Committee, amended, by a yea-nay vote: 17-12.

The following amendments were offered:

Committee Print to promote advanced battery and plug-in hybrid technologies was forwarded favorably, amended, to the full Committee by a voice vote;

The following amendments were offered:

  • Three amendments offered en bloc by Mr. Upton, #1, was adopted by a voice vote;
  • An amendment offered by Mr. Rogers, #2, was adopted by a voice vote;
  • An amendment offered by Mr. Rogers, #3, was adopted by a voice vote;
  • An amendment offered by Ms. Baldwin, #4, was adopted by a voice vote.

Committee Print to enhance Energy Information Administration (EIA) data collection was forwarded favorably, without amendment, to the full Committee by a voice vote.

Committee Print to promote renewable fuel infrastructure was forwarded favorably to the full Committee, amended, by a yea-nay vote: 17-14.
