Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation, which serves the Metro East, has been awarded a $356,036 Health Center Cluster grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The funds will be used to provide health care services.
“Meeting the health care needs of the country continues to be one of our most pressing public policy issues,” Costello said. “Community health care networks like the Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation are critical to keeping our citizens, and our communities, healthy.”
