SRS is a facility originally constructed to produce the basic materials for nuclear weapons. SRS is located in Aiken, South Carolina, and it is close to Augusta and Savannah, Georgia, and Columbia, Greenville, and Charleston, South Carolina.		   Savannah River Site (Aiken, SC)
