OECD Economic Survey of the Euro Area

OECD forecasts economic slowdown in US, Japan and the Euro Area
13-Nov-2008 - Advance projections from the OECD's Economic Outlook indicate that economic activity is expected to fall by 0.9 percent in the US next year, by 0.5 percent in the Euro area and by 0.1 percent in Japan as OECD countries enter a protracted slowdown.

OECD announces action plan in response to global financial crisis
12-Nov-2008 - The OECD is preparing a two-pillar action plan for governments which calls for tighter regulation and oversight of financial markets and improved national policies to promote economic growth. OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría said the action plan would cover a wide range of areas, from financial regulation, corporate governance and fiscal policy to competition, employment policy, insurance and pensions.
