Next Commission Meeting

Public Meeting on the Potomac Park Levee

On Wednesday, January 28, 2009 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., a public information meeting on the Potomac Park levee will be held at NCPC’s offices. Attendees will be able to ask questions and receive information on the District and federal governments’ progress toward design and construction of an improved levee system; potential building code changes; and other revisions relating to the city’s flood management ordinance.


January E-Newsletter

Winter Quarterly Available

The winter edition of the Quarterly newsletter is now available online and includes a feature article on the “2050 Scenario Thinking Workshop” hosted by the Washington Council of Governments, NCPC, and the District Office of Planning. The recent event explored several scenarios that could impact the future of the region. The issue also highlights two recent recognitions bestowed on NCPC.


Federal Capital Improvements Program

The Federal Capital Improvements Program (FCIP) for Fiscal Years 2009-2014 is available online. Prepared annually by NCPC, this document identifies capital projects proposed by 13 federal agencies in the National Capital Region for the coming six years. The current edition includes 222 projects at an estimated cost of $11.6 billion.
