WASHINGTON D.C. _ Republican U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) today issued the following statement regarding tomorrow’s anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s January 22, 1973 decision legalizing abortion:
“All human life is a precious gift that deserves to be treated with the highest dignity and respect, and that is why I have spent my career fighting to protect the rights of the unborn. So as our nation prepares to mark the somber anniversary of Roe v. Wade, I want the people of the 9th Congressional District to know that I will fight in Congress to pass legislation that respects the sanctity and dignity of all human life.”
