Beginning this morning and going late into the evening, I will be participating in one of the Senate’s most hectic days of voting called the vote-o-rama. The vote-o-rama occurs each year as the Senate debates the budget resolution for the next fiscal year. This year’s vote-o-rama began around 11:00 a.m. We could have more than 40 amendments receiving a vote, so we may still be voting past midnight.
