(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Senators Max Baucus and Jon Tester today announced that Gallatin Field near Bozeman will receive nearly $2 million to help expand its terminal building.

“This is great news for Bozeman and for all of Montana,” Baucus said.  “It means more good-paying jobs in our state, which will pave the way to a stronger economy.”

“This is a smart investment in Montana because it’s an investment in long-term infrastructure that supports jobs, families and businesses,” Tester said.  “This funding will put people to work now and will generate economic opportunity for the Gallatin Valley for years to come.”

The $1,908,189 grant will go to the Gallatin Airport Authority from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
