Digital Television Conversion

On February 17, 2009, America's broadcasters will begin transmitting television in digital format. If you currently receive television service from a cable or satellite provider, your service will not be interrupted and there is nothing you need to do. However, if your television has an antenna, either attached to the television or on the roof, you will need to do one of three things prior to the switch:

1. Connect to cable, satellite or other pay service.

2. Purchase a new television with a digital tuner.

3. Purchase a TV converter box that will allow your current television to receive the digital transmissions.
