Academy Nominations

Senator Martinez accepts applications from outstanding Florida students who wish to attend our U.S. Service Academies: the Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, the Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, the Military Academy at West Point, and the Naval Academy at Annapolis. For information regarding admissions requirements to these academies, please visit the following web sites:

2009 Nomination Schedule

  • September 30, 2009: Postmark deadline for application packet (Note: Mail will be delayed if sent to any office other than the Orlando, Florida location)
  • Mid-October 2009: Interview notification by mail
  • November 2009: Personal interview
  • Early December 2009: Notification of applicant status

Note: The Coast Guard Academy at New London does not require a Congressional nomination for appointment.
