2003 Spirit of Idaho Awards

Spirit of Idaho

During 2003, I was pleased to honor more than 23 individual Idahoans along with a local elementary school (and all its students), a family violence prevention shelter and all its volunteers, and a group of dedicated kidney dialysis patients. The Spirit of Idaho Award is one way to highlight those who are serving their communities, sometimes in very quiet ways, and to make Idahoans aware of the good efforts underway to improve everyday life in their local communities by their friends and neighbors.  The remarkable service and efforts of each individual and group honored during 2003 is highlighted briefly below.
