I am very pleased to welcome you to my new web site. While all of the useful information remains, there is a new look and many new features, all of which, I hope, will make your visit more enjoyable and encourage you to come back often.

Several important design features are built into the site because I want to be sure you are able to easily communicate with me and receive information from me. You will notice there are links on every page for my Contact page and to sign up for my e-Newsletter. On the bottom of every page are the addresses and phone numbers for each of my Congressional offices.

In additon to the new design and new features, we have tried to offer more information that may be useful to you. Constituent Service and Legislative areas of the web site have been expanded and navigation throughout the web site has been standardized for easy browsing.

Please take a few moments to visit several areas of the web site to see what is offered and come back often to stay abreast of updates.

Jerry

The inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States took place on January 20, 2009. It was truly a historic occasion and a continuation of our democratic tradition that began 220 years ago with the first inauguration of George Washington. Please go to the Presidential Inauguration Committee Web site for coverage of the event, including a webcast of President Obama’s inaugural address.

I look forward to working with the new administration and my colleagues in Congress as we shape the laws and policies that will move our country forward. As always, I want to hear from you and will continue to keep you updated on activities affecting our nation and our district.
